This week we have been writing and learning about Black Death and this is my paragraph and research.
The Black Death is thought to have originated in Asia,But then travelled to Europe in 1347.
The disease was likely transmitted from rodents to humans by the bite of infected fleas. The disease started in Asia and when the Russians attacked traders in Asia they caught the disease and they also lob dead people with the disease over the castle with a catapult to spread the disease to others. Then all the people who survived from the castle got out. They travelled on a ship to Europe which spread the disease even more.The symptoms for Black death were Fever and chills.
Extreme weakness.Abdominal pain, diarrhoea and vomiting.Bleeding from your mouth, nose, rectum or under your skin,They would also get Shocks.They would get Large Black buboes size of an egg or an apple in their armpits and groin oozing blood and pus.They got boils all over their body from internal bleeding.They tried to cure themselves by drinking poison such as Mixtures of rare spices and powdered pearls or emeralds.They would also pray to St. Roch who is the saint associated with the plague.
