3. What special treatment do the rats get?
They get to live and they get to eat with the people and eat before the people.There not killed,They get milk,If you treat them wrong you will anger the gods.

Filtration expriment

Today in science were doing a our first experiment of the Term called a filtration experiment.We will be using two chemicals called copper sulfate and sodium carbonate solution.

Hypophysis:I think that the filter will make the mixture clear.

Method:

1. Pour approximately 50 mL of copper sulfate solution into a beaker.

2. Add the same volume of sodium carbonate solution. A reaction will happen, you should see a cloudy blue precipitate form. Called copper carbonate. 

3. Watch demo then fold filter paper to fit inside the funnel

4. Place the funnel with the filter paper inside of it, into the mouth of a conical flask. 

5. Stir the mixture in the beaker, then carefully pour it into the funnel. 

6. Observe what happened:When the mixture on the top started dripping down to the bottom the colour was clear.

How tatau came to Samoa

Today we reed a story on how Tatau came to Samoa.
It started with two conjoined twins named  Tilafaiga who was the goddess of canoeing, and Taema who was the goddess of swimming. They both swam to Fiji from their village to learn about tattoo art before they left fiji they were given tools and instructions on who should be tattooed, Then they started swimming back to their village but when they were nearly  at their village they say a cool clam so they went down to grab it and then they forgot what they were taught and forgot who should be tattooed. 

Umu Blog

What is an Umu,What does it need,What is it for?

An umu is a Meal cooked in the ground. For an umu to be cooked you obviously need food to be cooked  ,you need rocks that will be heated up by fire that is created by two bits of wood one smaumull and one big ,and then you'll need banana leaves to block off so the head doesn't get out of the Umu.

How are traditional samoan skills taught?

Samoans are taught to cook a umu by listening and watching their parents older cousins aunts and uncles and grandparents.

Is there something you've experienced similar to an Umu? What was it? Where did you experience it?

I have experienced a hangi which is similar to this but is cooked under the ground and covered with dirt.

Ive done this at my primary school and in my own back yard.

Where is she/Why do you think shes there 

I think shes in heaven because shes looking down on the houses from above.

How did she get there?

She died.

How does she feel?

I think she feels lonely and sad.

What is a paper crane and what does it represent?

A paper is a piece of origami that represents happiness and success.

After reading the story.

Add four facts that you learnt about the real Sadak?

I learnt that her sickness was caused by a bomb and

that she died when she was 12 and her friends family and classmates raised money to build a statue for sadako and the amount of paper cranes she folded was more than 1300.

What Carr values do u thing sadako showed while making her paper cranes?
I think she showed every CARR value because she never gave up she did more than 1000 paper cranes.

If you could choose a symbol of hope for the world 2020 what would it be and why?
A vaccine because it would stop the spread of carona virus.
