My Christmas holiday.

Today in CIP we had to create a DLO about what I do in my Christmas holidays with my family.
I also explained what I have for our Christmas breakfast, Christmas lunch and our Christmas dinner.

Denny and Alice

In my novel study book there's two characters named Denny and Alice. They both go to the same school and they both like each other but there's one thing that they don't have in common. Its Denny likes Rugby but Alice doesn't because her brother died in a car crash while he was at a Rugby celebration. And she told herself that she would never date a Rugby player because of the accident her brother was in but also because she thinks that every Rugby  player wants to party all the time.

But then Denny tried to convince her to go to one of his games. And she came to one game and while Denny was playing she was watching him and realised that he's not like other Rugby players. And then they started dating.

Creating a new book cover.

Today in my Novel study I had to create my own book cover for my novel that my reading group is reading and this is my finished book cover.

Pounamu story

Today in Maori my teacher Mr Matthews told us a story about greenstone and i'm going to be telling this story and explaining what i've learnt while listening to this story.

In this story there was a man called Poutini and a woman called Waitaiki, Poutini saw Waitaiki and thought that he would kidnap her and that's what he decided to do. But then Poutini was getting chased by Waitaiki's husband and her husband had a thing called a tekateka. A tekateka is a spear that he threw in the air and then when it was in the air it would show what direction they were in, and that's where he went, but did not get closer to them.
But then Poutini realised that Waitaiki's husband was going to catch them so he put Waitaiki into the river and turned her into Greenstone.

Summer learning journey

Last Friday a lady called Emma who works in our Uru Manuka cluster came to our school to tell us about the Summer Learning Journey. The Summer learning journey is a activity where you blog once a day or even once a week to keep our knowledge up to date while were on holiday.

To get us students interested in doing this, Emma told us their were prizes to be won like Go pros,Speakers, Laser strike vouchers,head phones and many other cool prizes.
I probably wont do a blog post every day but I might do at least one blog post a week about what iv'e enjoyed in the week that i'm blogging about and what im looking forward to.

Dennys responsibility's.

Today in my novel study task I have to write about what responsibility's I have in my life because  one of the characters in my story has lots of responsibility's like helping his mum with bills,looking after his two twin seven year old sisters and he has a rugby team that he plays in.

In my life my responsibility's are to clean my room  do chores like dishes, I also have to help my mum with my twin brother and sister. who are 3 years old.
I also play in a sport team but Rugby League.

Cooking cockies.

Today in Tech we made chocolate chip cookies.
Our ingredients that we used were  Chocolate chips,Vanilla essences,Baking powder,Butter,condense milk,Flour and sugar.

When we got the cookies out of the ovens they looked golden on both sides and they were soft and I was so excited to taste them.

I enjoyed our cookies because they were soft and they were warm.I also liked the cookies because I could taste, melted chocolate chips in the cookie that I chose.
